It's true. These little bites are loaded with protein and can be snacked on throughout the day.
2/3 cups Protein powder
2 tbs Cocoa powder
1/4 cups Sweetener
1/2 tsp Baking soda
1 Egg
1/3 cups Nut butter
Preheat oven to 350 degrees, and line a rimmed baking pan with parchment paper, a baking mat, or foil sprayed with cooking spray.
Mix the dry ingredients together in a large bowl, then add the wet ingredients. Stir until dough forms.
Now you have two options, depending on how you want your cereal. If you want squares, roll the dough out on parchment paper and place on pan. Cut lines down the dough with a knife to form small squares. Bake dough for 5 minutes, then break up the squares a bit and bake for an additional 5-8 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool to room temperature. Cereal will crisp up as it cools. (If making cinnamon version, toss cereal with cinnamon and sweetener when removing from the oven).Makes 6 servings.
